System Features
The DT533 features a 5.5-inch display with full HD (1920×1080) resolution. It runs on Android 7.1.2 OS and is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon Octa-core 1.8GHz processor. In addition to the available options of Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and NFC connectivity, the DT533 is equipped with a RF module of 433MHz frequency spectrum; providing an extra wireless connectivity option for field deployment. Together with the dynamic power management system, the battery has a capacity of 3200mAH, which ensures relatively long battery life between charges. The DT533 also conforms to the IP65 rating and a 1.5m drop test standard to withstand rigorous use in working environments.
Built-in RF Communication Module
Wi-Fi deployment in the field can be tricky. With careful planning, a Wi-Fi network can operate smoothly in most cases. interference however, can sometimes be a real issue particularly in crowded areas, requiring on-site support to optimise the Wi-Fi setup. To address this issue, the DT533 is designed to operate on a completely different frequency spectrum with the built-in RF 433MHz communication module. Being less prone to signal interference compared to a Wi-Fi network, it makes the DT533 an ideal choice for an overcrowded Wi-Fi environment.
Reliable Communication & Simple Setup
Setting up the DT533 with the RF Station will take only a few steps. If the signal coverage is insufficient, simply add a RF Repeater. The deployment is straight forward. The unique two-way communication protocol and the automatic channel hopping feature ensure the system communicate with the optimum frequency channel and achieves reliable communication. Typically, the operating range covers 40m radius indoor and 100m radius outdoor.
Application Development
The RF communication is designed for fat client applications. SDK is available for developers to adapt their existing Android and PC applications. This saves the development effort and speeds up the deployment.
